Every May, coinciding with National Small Business Week, the FCBA holds its annual Legislative Dinner.  This is the third year that we bring together our businesses and our local, state, and federal legislators to discuss and find solutions to issues that affect the health, growth, and development of our businesses and local economy.

We will also provide an update on the FCBA’s “EMPOWERS” program, and announce the recipient of our 2017 “Business Person of the Year Award”.  We know there are several business persons within our service area that go above-and-beyond for their business, employees, and community, and we take this opportunity to recognize one of them.

The 2017 Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 4, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at M.A.C.A. in Marienville.  The event includes a social hour from 5 – 6pm; dinner from 6 – 7pm; brief comments from the FCBA Chairman and “EMPOWERS” committee and a moderated Q&A session with our legislators from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
